The microsoft flight sims are pretty good and decently realistic if you can afford them

Flight Sim X is a really good simulator, some argue it offers a more realistic simulation compared to X-Plane. FSX also has some really good plane and cockpit models, but it can't beat X-Plane in terms of land quality. I have been tempted to try X-Plane out, but I have been using FSX for a long time and I have to say it is worth it.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is great! I don't know about others, since that the only flight simulator I've played.

Watch some youtube cover. Which suits you best.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is some real shit. You should play it on a wide screen or double screens. My friend does that shit and it looks epic.

This man speaketh the truth. This is what I use when I can't actually go out flying. Worth every penny.

MS Flight Sim X, if set to realistic and played using a realistic set of flight control joysticks, can be used toward ~20 of the hours for your pilots license.
