World's ugliest dog dies

A one-eyed, three-legged dog that won the title of world's ugliest pooch this summer has died.

Gus, a hairless Chinese crested dog, succumbed to cancer after a long battle, according to The St. Petersburg Times in Florida. He was 9.
Gus was rescued from a bad home and went on to win the annual World's Ugliest Dog contest at the Sonoma-Marin Fair in northern California.

aww he looked so happy in that picture, even though he had 3 legs, 1 eye and no hair.. oh well, he's better off now i guess

Dogs shouldn't have to have long battles with cancer. I believe it inhuman to let a dog struggle for so long. Don't flame me for my opinion, please :].

Those owners are such assholes. Even if it had no idea what the hell it was doing and got all giddy from the cameras and attention, I still wouldn't ridicule my ugly *** dog by putting it on a show. It's like submitting the picture of a person that loves you on the top 10 Ugliest People online

and winning.
