Default My thoughts on FFXI now

I played FFXI when it came out so I wanted to see what changed. I downloaded the trial. I went back on my old server and it was deserted. I can now move on since I know that is not the greatest mmo ever anymore. When I played it in Sand O'ria and Jeuno you couldn't even get around. So many huge parties and shit with my guild. I cannot find anyone to play with. Therefor I must find a new game to play of equal greatness when that was in it's prime. Any suggestions?

I don't know about a new game... but I'd like to say that areas such as San d'Oria and Jeuno are empty now because of Aht Urghan.
Aht Urhgan has every crafting guild as well as Jeuno's auction house... and it's surrounded by the best training areas in the game.
So there's really no point in staying in the starter cities anymore, even for crafting.

I definately recommend Odin server, as hyarume said it is packed on the weekends...and it is said to have at least 2k or more people daily from what I heard.
