Allod's graphic resembles WOW's more than any game I've ever seen
It's stupid to think that the makers of Allod made their game without any reference.
Even so, does it matter?? Not to me :/ It won't kept me away from playing it

just cause it looks like wow in some parts that does not mean it also plays like it , the game has some great feature that no other game has . If you guys wont play the game just because of that ..... lol you got issues

Who cares? WoW is the most successfull MMORPG (Sub wise) so isnt it logical to copy?

What are you all arguing about? The game devs admitted from the start they were inspired by WoW and graphic style is very close to WoWish as well as game mechanic in many ways. There's nothing bad or good in it, that's the fact. Of course, Allods is never WoW clone cause it considers full identical matter, but similarity is easy to follow. Imo, the graphic style resembles WAH much more than WoW(they're similar, too), just have a quick look on Imperial guards armor sets or some other graphic details.

Not to sound bad but info on this game has been on this very site for at least 3 months. Ya it does look like fun. I watched the trailer a while ago. Why is it that everyone thinks WoW was the first mmo? Do you all think that Blizzard just magically came up with the mechanics of WoW out of thin air? Or could it be that you can't admit that Blizzard took from other mmos to make WoW what it is? Do any of you think maybe WoW is so popular because it can be ran on low end pc's or the fact that it had 3 RTS games prier to it being an mmo. Free Realms by SOE made it very clear that a mmo that doesn't have high system specs will attract more people than one that does? The video game industry is built on copying game and ideas that work. It's a type of trial and error. I'm sorry but WoW is not the "holy grail" of mmos. I play WoW and yes it is fun but there are a lot of things that piss me off about the game. Most notably when doing boss fights or raids and listening to somebody ramble on for 45min about how I need to use this skill and that skill. That to me isn't playing a game, it's boring. I don't know about anybody else but I don't need some jackass telling me what I'm going to do, but I'm also not a sheep.

Sorry, but WoW is not a crap... see how many peoples plays it... BTW I registered last year... And I'm trying to make a point... many people gets blind when a new awesome game is being released and ignore any other fact connecting it to others MMORPGs, I know that because I got blind this way many times before... See Runes of Magic... excellent example... I was totally blind about it... Well, the game ended up a CRAP, a true CRAP, not the word crap you keep spamming on other players' opinion related to WoW, which has been the greatest MMO...

oh you're a WoW fanboy, I'm not even surprised...
I played both Runes of Magic and a little bit of Allods and I can already say Allods has alot better engine and ingame mechanics, and alot of inovative features
btw. how would it be if all of us that like Allods and warhammer come to official WoW forum and start saying WoW is a warhammer rip-off wich is true in one way... did you see somebody saying Aion is Far Cry clone just because it uses the same engine?? I'm 100% sure you didn't, and you didn't even played Allods so how can you say it's a WoW clone? damn fanboys

If someone posted on the WoW forum saying that WoW is a clone of Warhammer, he probably don't play WoW and is just flaming the game, but I'm talking on a THREAD about the game I'M GOING TO PLAY, because I'm really looking forward to it... and it just pisses me off when the even more FANBOYS, that turn instantly into a fan of a game that just released, and played it for just a little time. I liked WoW because I played it A LOT, and I reached the end game, and I liked the experience I had, and I'm a fanboy, like I said before in another post, but your fanboy blindness probably didn't notice it... BTW Aion and FarCry are 2 different games, one is an MMORPG, while the other is a FPS, both has different themes and genres, can't even be compared... Now, talking about WoW, which, if I am right, has an unique, not used in any other game, till it got copied.

BTW I'm happy to hear it is much better than Runes of Magic, thanks for the info.
