Let's not get carried away by this whole "better than WoW" thing. We all know where all of these "WoW killers" are now.

well WoW is slowly dying by itself and that's a well known fact, and I know alot of people who played WoW but got bored, and Allods is a perfect game if you are bored of all those WoW addicts and WoW itself, Allods is free, it got alot more interesting features and plus traveling with your friends through Astral is very attractive thing, Allods may not be the WoW killer but I already got one friend who quit playing WoW and he might start playing Allods

because WoW was one of the first successful MMOs and it gave a whole new look to online games, and set very good standards, so new games don't have nothing big to change because WoW standards are great but overall looking it isnt very fun anymore su new MMOs are seting new standards using the old ones from WoW like: classes, races, skills, quests, mounts, pvp figts, factions, very good graphic style with little system requirements so it is available to wide range of people, but looking in other way WoW didn't bring so much innovations, most of the races existed before WoW, most of the classes existed before WoW, and basic RPG storyline, dungeons, and basic RPG elements, but WoW made all that famous so people nowadays compare everything to the game that made all that fameous...

Still, I wouldn't say Allods is better than WoW or a WoW killer. Let's just leave that subject alone unless we want people coming here claiming "WoW clone" all over again.

I was watching the video and whoa, what's with one of the Gibberling's haristyle. HUGE head.

And again, let's not get carried away by the hype and all the "Allods is meant to be a success". We don't know how Allods really is, we don't know what it's like.

I remember a similar situation when AoC came out. Everyone was like "screw WoW with it's prehistoric system, i'm off to AoC!". And like, 3 weeks later "i'm thinking about resubing WoW, any guilds raiding Ulda with Hard Modes?".

I'm not saying that Allods will fail, i'm not saying that WoW is the best either. I'm just saying that we shouldn't be so sure about everything because we all saw those so-called "next generation MMOs" bite the dust and struggle for new players.

well we can't know is Allods better then WoW 'cause we didn't played it yet

I personally think WoW is a bit overrated but enough about that...

haha guys i just downloaded Allods 2 to get to know the history in allods better haha, the graphics aint much and either are the gameplay but just to kill time, i'm playing it

and you recognize alot from allods online haha

When installed, the shortcut named "ALLODS2.EXE" is for Multiplayer and "allods2acom.exe" is for Singleplayer.. Have not tryed the multiplayer version yet so i dont know how to connect and such, aint that interesting.. Just installed to get the hang of the story like the great mages and such
