Aslath made the original Omnitrix, then a band of petrosapiens found and stole the blueprints to the Omnitrix. They built duplicates of the Omnitrix and sold them. People started to use them for war. Somehow Earth got involved in the issue. And thus started, the Omnitrix Wars.
