Mythic has finally listened to the cry of the people and created more incentive to participate in oRvR and control Keeps. Due to the Heavy Metal Event, there was a large amount of people in oRvR yesterday and it was my first time doing it. It was so much more enjoyable then scenarios. Each group pushing forward and falling back with no real goal in mind other than kill the enemies. Keep raids will become more frequent and exciting as well. Perfect way to test out my soon to be main Black Guard. ![]() Source

Yeah, I have to go with some of the folks on the Warhammer Alliance forums about part of the event being used as a testbed for getting people to oRvR (the kill 15 people in oRvR part). And as far as I was concerned it was a rousing success (where tier 1 applies anyway).
Also, suggest folks look at the changes being made in the PTS as far as the C&C patch is concerned (patch 1.06). Looks like it's turnin into a real treat from its prior incarnation before the big change. Links to the notes in order:

They finally are getting some things right.
Allowing server transfers from high population servers to low population servers was the beginning of several stupid moves on their part, and now they're working to correct that also. Hopefully with the next few patches it can bring the game's popularity back up. After changing servers and starting out new, I have finally been having fun with the game for the first time in months. Got into several scenarios within minutes of queuing up, and the new scenario is amazingly fun. |
