Try setting the compatibility for MapleStory to an earlier version of Windows.
- Go to where you have MapleStory saved (most commonly C:\Program Files\Nexon\MapleStory\MapleStory.exe).
- Right click and select "Properties"
- There should be a compatibility tab; set the compatibility mode.
