Because the game is worthless, there is probably not enough money to make off this case. If it was popular it would be different.
That and the fact suing a chinese company is useless. They are ripoff masters, shut one down, ten more pop up. Would be too expensive for the ripped off companies, with too little gain if they ever win.

They don't look alike, they are the same. It IS stealing. L2IntellectualProperty.

Blas_Eir you have really obvious problems with every single one of your post, and I know you're just going to quote me and say "Did you even read my post?"

1- These sprites are Stolen, on the basis 1- It's a game made by a Chinese Company(not to be racist)
2- A good percentage of it is stolen from a BUNCH of different games, = alot of money to have to spend towards making these copies legal, Do you honestly think a small company that's probably 4~7 people would even be able to buy out all of this? No.
3- It's Free to Play. And I'll ask you this too, how woulda F2P game get all it's money to grab all this stuff? and don't say they got it from Cash Shops.
4- Why would blizzard, DEV Team, Nexon, Square, and all of these companies even bother on something so miniscul? I doubt they would really care enough to take the administrative action to get this game removed.
5- If you CAN'T tell that these sprites are stolen, just look at some earlier and OBVIOUS post. If you can't realize it, you're plain stupid, not sugar coating it.

Trust me, if any company can sue another one (even if IGG its not as good as you say) and they will make a profit for it, they WILL do it.

Even if the chinese version is a "good ripoff" and they cant sue it because according to you chinese are expert in breaking the law at the point of beating so many different important companies. Even so, what do you have to say about IGG?
Why hasnt been sued yet if the game has been announced a month ago? Do you really think that so many companies will remain doing nothing about it when they can make a profit if IGG is sued?

And about the stealing part, like I said before, even if they look alike or they are the same its not necessary a steal. If they buy it from other companies its not illegal.

They are obviously using the same graphics engine. And for those who doesnt know its not illegal if they buy the rights to do so

The fact that the sprites and layout are ripped off other titles is something that just can't be discussed, it's... well, obvious!

Still, the game can turn out good, who knows. I'm looking forward for it since I've been looking for a good turn based MMORPG for ages.

If they get into a lawsuit and get it shut down, so be it. I intend to enjoy it, if enjoyable at all, while it lasts at the very least.

These sprites aren't for sale. They are the intellectual property of Gravity (the Ragnarok Online ones). There's no way they'd have sold them to some random trash company. Your chinese company (w/e its name) stole them and applied minor edits so it doesn't seem too obvious (they failed miserably, though).

We're discussing wether it's legal or not to do so. Apparently, Blas_Eir can't grasp the basics of Intellectual Property. It's like talking to a wall.
He thinks it's legal because they haven't been sued so far... genius.

First off, I'm not a fan of the game..I don't even care about it, but I felt like giving my 2 cents on this topic :P:

Many sprites look, indeed, similar to those of other games, however only few/none look actually identical.
No one can sue them for lack of creativity.

If you think that you cant buy the rights to use other game graphics, music, etc. and put it in your game, then you are wrong, because doing it its not illegal.

How do you know that this didnt happened? How do you know that they didnt buy it? This is something that you assumed and cant prove.


ANSWER TO YOUR EDIT:
The reason its not illegal its not because they hasnt been sued, its because they have buyed the rights.

And you are saying that is talking to a wall? I have explained this in many post and you just keep saying "its imposible that they buy the rights, they are stolen, you are blind because you cant see it"

Also, come on, stop being a hypocrite when you clearly know they did not.
Do you think such a minor company would've bought Ragnarok Online, LaTale, MapleStory, WoW, Sword of Mana rights? Do you realize how expensive that is? It's not even a real game they're making, get real.
