I might sound like an idiot to some of you guys because idk what I'm talking about, but what would be a good guitar to start out with? I'm talking like acoustic guitar to start with. Sorry if I sound stupid...

If you want to one day play the electric guitar or a "hybrid" guitar, start with acoustic and get used to it, then go to an electric bass and get used to that, and then go to electric or "hybrid". Oh, and igf you want a good guitar brand, my acoustic is a Johnson. The strings are a bit more fragile compared to others, but if you get a nice tuner or are naturally good at tuning, it shouldn't bother you. Plus the sound quality is excellent because of the thinner strings.

That's what I have, and it has a nice sound quality. As of where to get it, I'd browse local music shops. And the cutaway one you showed me is ok, but if you're just starting out you don't need a cutaway. Last edited by C~Dub; 12-04-2008 at 05:55 AM. |
