you can only have 3 masteries, 2 + the weapon you begin with.

Lmfao, yes you can, but it'll be a while, so just focus on one mastery.
重撃の型 great sword
念術の型 single dagger
壮術の型 Spear
巧迅の型 Two daggers

And when you finish the quest the order is usually
重撃の型 great sword
巧迅の型 Two daggers
念術の型 single dagger
壮術の型 Spear

Type of patron is 守護の型. Type of heavy hammer is 重撃の型. Takumi 迅 type is 巧迅の型. Sense of art - is 念術の型. Type of surgery壮 is 壮術の型.

hey guys! i just started this game. im kinda confused with the quests since i can't understand japanese and the only quest i know of is the one to get the mastery. if anyone could give my brother and i a hand i would be highly grateful. =]

to get the 1st mastery you have to beat the bosses in the area right, the language barrier is killing me

Not exacually, you can kill certian monsters for points or kill the boss with the dagger for tons 32 points, and I recomend you get 100 points to get the best weapon that you can get out of that quest, so kill him 4 times.
