I got some cash coming in for christmas. And id like to play warhammer online and world of warcraft. However im not gonna lie. I got some concerns and was hoping you all could answer or address them.

My main concern is. Im hearing population is really low and naturally that can imbalance pvp/RvR and make battles one sided. So i feel it is a concern worth noting. If so do they have plans to merge servers or some way to fix it.

How do you feel the "Replay value" is. Alot of things to keep you busy. Do you get bored. Etc.

Mainly im concerned about population and the future of WAR. I am a massive fan of the warhammer series and id like to play. Thanks for any input you might have.

Well, they are allowing people on low population servers to switch to higher population servers, and then they will hopefully take my advice and force the rest to switch and shut down the empty servers.

I switched my Black Orc a couple of days ago and have been happy with the new server's population. I have had three or four scenarios shut down because Order had many more in it than Destruction, but that was only around four in the morning.

Otherwise it's got good population on several servers and is clearly noted which.


If you enjoy the PvP/oRvR, then the replay value is high. If you don't, it's low. Most people enjoy it and continue to participate in oRvR after reaching rank 40, not to mention they'll be releasing updates and expansions later as well.

Well i love warcraft but the pvp sucks majorly. Wanna get warhammer to satisfy my pvp. Thanks for the info. Guess i will buy it. Was only worried about population mostly.

As it stands from 1-4o the game is fine. At R40 the game stops being fun. Keep Sieges, BFO's, and ORVR are pointless. You wind up grinding Serpent's Passage from Lvl 28 to Eternity trying to get reknown. Fortress Sieges crash the zone and PvE is so hosed at 40 that it's simply not worth it. The amazingly sad part is that the game was better in beta and that makes 0 sense. I'd give it a few months and come back and look at it. I played beta for 6 months and retail for 3 and just cancelled. I'll check up on it and maybe resubscribe if they fix the issues with the game and not just add minor bandaids as they have done over the past month.
