Default Your opinions?

I always thought about trying RoM, but I never brought myself to do it.

Could I get your honest opinions about RoM and it's pros and cons?

You never brought yourself to try it because it came out today.
And I am gonna try it, but I don't know any Pros or Cons....
Check the website for some information, maybe you'll like what you see...

No... I was registered for the Closed Beta at one point because I wanted to play it. However, I never actually did participate in the closed beta.

Pros

1. It's pretty fun if you like quest based gameplay.

2. Many different combinations of classes to try.

3. Free to play.

4. World map and locations are quite expansive.

5. Game is straight forward to learn, quest objectives are often marked for you.

Cons

1. A lot of text was untranslated back in closed beta.

2. The dual class system needs a lot of work. Things like equipment, ways to level the secondary etc.

3. If you don't like quest based gameplay, it's not for you.

4. For some people, it was very buggy with some reporting game shutdowns after a while or memory leaks.

5. Need shader v2.0 at least I think - onboard chipsets won't work nor will older GFX cards.

Hope that helps.

Above poster is correct, Although there are some things that now differ. Translation isn't a problem anymore, So far from what I've played I have only come across 2 things that were translated (Buffs-The effect, The name was fine).

It is an extremely quest heavy game. And Im not sure if you need Shader 2.0 or not, But i know you can turn the Shading effects off, So I take it you don't have to.

I like it

Very WoW-like.
The duel class is a cool idea, though it needs tweaking.
A good amount of initial character customisation.

My opinion of this game is pretty much one of the best f2p mmo's that I've played.

The controls and camera movements feel really good and you can jump. Animation looks good on everything, didn't feel any lag. The dual-class idea is a good thing even if it has issues, its open beta and it seems they do read users posts on forums so I'm sure things will be fixed.

I would have to disagree, The Animation looks good on everything except for when jumping whilst mounted :P .
