That is just the discussion thread for voting for Shaiya already 5 pages long. The GMs are pretty much spamming us in game to vote.

If you read that thread, somewhere a GM mentions that they will talk to their bosses to get the players a reward if they win the contest. Aeria is a corrupt company, players are treated at $$$ instead of real people. Many high level, well respected players have been permanently banned from the game because their actually dare to air their opinions on the overpriced in game item mall (with some packages as expensive as $150) and other issues due to lack of game content which other versions of the game has.

Two quick quotes from that thread (not my post) and one from a players forum signiture

"what i find extremely funny is i give GOOD reason's why not to vote for shaiya or ANY Aeria Games, and my post get Deleted!!!"
"Advice : Keep your head down and play, or you will realize that you are just an account to them."

Doesn't that just say it all? It is a complete dictatorship. There is actually quite an uprising at the moment against Aeria with the community growing more angry but people are too scared to step out of line in fear of getting banned.

Those people who have posted here saying that they are completely happy with Shaiya and Aeria are either completely naive or are hoping to get rewarded for their support.

And no Aeria - I didn't vote for any of your games - as a completely disguting money grabbing company, you do not deserve it

Not all of us hate Aeria, and are happy with there service.
For you members that are not happy with it STFU and leave please ..
The rest of us want to play and hangout at aeria's site and not be freed from there evil "dictatorship".

Ahhhh. That's why the voting is way off. I tried looking for a post on the Shaiya boards about something that would get players to vote.

To all Shaiya voters, you will be disappointed if these polls are closed due to member complaints.

I can understand if a ten people come and vote, but over 300? That's a little extreme.

Shaiya will win, as long as the polls remain open.

I don't know if there will be rewards, and if there are then thats a little messed up. I will admit.

But I still think Shaiya is a better game, at least for me. Nuff said. ^_^

It seems Shaiya is still on the list. I'll keep following the "Many upset online RPG players" vs Aeria Games with big interest. Almost as good as tennis...

Hate to admit it - Shaiya is too good a game for me to give it up just by principle (so far at least...). Even grinding looks beautiful in this one.
