Project torque has issues that need to be addressed! The payouts are a big dissapontment. I understand a grind of some sort in a mmo but a couple hundred rp points (if your lucky) for a win? WTF? when your looking at a couple hundred thousand rp points worth of upgrades, parts, balancers etc.

I wouldn't vote pt if my life depended on it! PT just hasn't won that kind of loyalty.

please , if you want fair play chess, most of this games are not "fair" nor should they be

its life like, obviously you have more money to spend of better equipment you will have an easier time killing DUH

video games are (and i'm very glad of that) not like an olimpic sport

I have been playing Project Torque since the beginning it came out in CB , it has been evolved in a way better game than it whas.

The RP AND AP cars are ballenced VERY well in case of the performances they have.
The cars have been tested by allot of different people to make sure they were right in there class/performance etc.
The RP cars are in no way less than AP cars.
The only point is that some cars are better on lets say 1 of the England tracks and some are better on 1 of the Circuit tracks.
Each car has its advantage and disadvantage on a track , like in real life a Corvette can get stuck or spins out easyer on a mud track than a Hummer does. (obvious isnt it?)
Also some people might suck at driving there cars and others not.
{NOTE} Some people might use a acceleration girl , yes it gives a little advantage over the ones that arent using one , but instead the other ones can use sparkplugs/oil (backpack items) etc that are obtainable for RP.
And than yes , the people that might run with a acceleration girl can also run with backpack items.

About the RP problem.
It has been said around a billion times that a new RP earn system is in the stage of developing , it takes time to get everything right and to get it ingame without any major bugs.

PT IS geared towards the free players , like ANY other MMO out there , there are items that have to get sold for real money , just for the simple reason the get the game beiing developed and the most important one , to keep it RUNNING.
Heck some are even PAY to play like AION / Guildwars etc.
PT is FREE to download and for the biggest part FREE to play.
There are 24 fantasy (RP) 1 fantasy AP (but that might change in the future)and 16 real brand cars (AP).
All the tracks are free.
Backpack items are for the biggest part free.
99% of the car upgrades and cosmetics are free.
There are contests organised often were you can participate in were you can earn for a little tiny bit of effort backpack items / sponsor girls / RP ASWELL as AP cars / a bunch RP etc.

Also you can WIN some FREE AP by participating in some forum contests , that also ADS something extra for the people that cant get AP if they want something through there parents or dont have a credit card or a job etc.

There are always every weekend RP and XP bonuses going on.

hopefully this year huxley and especially battlefield heroes will raise this patheticly low standards we have now
