That's a terrible analogy. Comparing a dentist's job to a doctor's job is comparing apples and oranges. Comparing a request forum to a general talk forum, both on the same subject, is comparing grapes and raisins.
A better analogy would be going to the emergency room for a cold. Sure it's not necessary, but it's a hell of a lot more convenient and you get better results.
