More and more recently I have seen people posting to up their post count and people giving others reputation for no reason. Then people judge the intelligence of a user by their post count. IT'S RIDICULOUS! And it's not like this is a new problem, it has been around since I have joined the forums.
So, here I am to put the idea that many people have came up with before: get rid of post count and the reputation system. Truly, it would resolve many problems on the boards, and it has little to no downside, besides the few people who care about postcount would get upset.

people dont judge others intelligence based on post count or rep.....look at the guy that posted about aeria games taking over the poll....his post count is like lower than all of ours but we believed him....if your thread is epic no matter how big your post pen0rz is your thread will remain epic...post count is just something we like to look at and think to ourselves..damn we have too much time to devote to onrpg..and the rep is soemthing we like to look at and say..nice all this time wasted is being recognized by others

You may believe post count and rep is important, that's fine. I don't want to appear to say it's all a bad thing. If used right, the systems can work very well. But the way things stand, too many people actually believe that post count and rep is a measure of your intelligence or the value of your post.
And Useless, I said I have been here longer. He was being sarcastic (I hope, otherwise he is an asshole) about the whole "my opinion is better than yours" thing. I wasn't talking about my post count and rep.
