Default What do you guys think about Obama taxing the rich more?

Sorry to double post...this was on my mind.


What do you guys think about Obama taxing the rich more? Will there still be insentive for people to become doctors or lawyers?

Next he should cut all those tax breaks huge companies get

Why would anyone wanna be a doc if they know they are going to get taxed to death dude?

and it's "incentive." And why not? Even with this, doctors and lawyers will still be earning huge amounts of money.

They'd still be making far more money than the average joe... Also helping people / prestigious job.

Raise personal income taxes for everyone (though more for the rich than anyone else), and lower corporate taxes. That'd solve most of the country's problems.

because sometimes, people prefer the passion of their field rather than the money they receive


anyhow i think that the 300 billion dollar tax cut 4 small businesses and middle class is excellent, now they can stay on top of morgage and credit, and gain profit to boost economy

No...If they got taxed to the point where they make the same as the "average joe"...then why would they do it?

Prestige. If money becomes meaningless as a method to differentiate; it's much better to say at a party: "I'm a doctor", instead of "I'm a janitor".
