![]() I made my transition to Guardian not too long ago, and I have a question. First things first though, I have been lurking in this forum for a little while now and have seen an amount of Guardian bashing and I have to say that it's complete and utter bullshit. All of it. My damage is beyond my wildest dreams-- my three basic skills (FKick II, TFist II, SBoom II) are as strong as a Blader my level's normal attack, and they only get much stronger from there-- the next set of skills are twice as strong as the last. So to anyone discouraged by the haters, don't be. Guardians are totally worth it. That being said, I don't know exactly how some of the Guardian skills work, namely Max Speed and and Threatening Cry. To those who don't know, I'll describe them: Max Speed- the ultimate exponent of the defensive misc. tree beginning with Iron Armor. When maxed, it grants the lucky bastard in question a self-buff boosting them with +20% evade and +30% speed. Problems: It takes an incredible amount of points to get to this skill, and ten more to master it-- and I don't even know how it works. What's the cooldown on it? How long does it last? These things are important. Can anyone help me? Threatening Cry- the ultimate exponent of the offensive misc. tree beginning with Weapon Blocking. When maxed, it grants the Guardian the ability to rip off 40% of the enemies' defense... but here's the thing. Is it an aura? For those of you who have used the skill Tactical Move (any knight that got to level 80 before they patched the bug could have gotten it) knows how aura-based skills work. It's basically a self buff that grants the user the ability to exude an effect-- in the case of Tactical Move, it's 30% speed to anyone that's around you in your party. If Threatening Cry is like that, and you only have to cast it once, then great. If you have to cast it on every single monster you come across... then not great. What I was thinking was that anyone of you that knows Korean or Japanese could go over to a forum or database site in that language and ask/find out the answer to this question for me. Please? Thanks. |
