im new to this form and i am in need of help in guild wars. i need help on getting my elementalist char to hard mode and getting the farming skills needed to farm raptors or other mobs of monsters/animals. (my name is ffx E ,ffx stands for final fate x and the e is for elementalist) you can add me to friends so you know when i get on. sorry if this is annoying someone of it they think im a beggar.

(p.s. im not the best at spelling)

Dont find you a beggar if you want help. Ofc skills is req for certain builds now i cant remember the farming build for raptors outside Rata Sum.

But find a hm guild its more likely to help you out since u earn more money on quests yadda yadda. If you are an elementalist go SF build and SH is useful in some dungeons.

Just go to kamadan and try to find a large pve guild like Yarr or LaZy. Large guilds are great for helping get established in pve. I'd help, but I'm not doing PVE anymore.

raptor farming still works? I thought the old nerf hammer would have dropped by now.

Yeah it works, mainly because its really not the most effecient farm out there. Its just good asuran rep, which AN doesn't want to nerf. In addition to that, four different classes can do it, so any nerf would have to involve the enemies having rending touch and wild strike. Perma's force rending touch, and rangers force wild strike.

permas fail, UW is more fun as balanced. but this game is behind me after the huge updats on gvg which ruined the game for me.

I assume your talking about the VOD removal update and elite skill over powering back in august? I'm going to agree with you on UW being more fun as balanced, but I'm talking about permas in the context of raptor farms. Perma/silver armor is by far the most effective method to complete the farm. I have to double check since the recent nerf, but the energy boosts there a significant, so I see no reason why the nerf should have affected the farm.
