Well Im experiencing some lag in my video trying to watch and was waondering does it have to do with video codec.If so what is a good codec.
right now im using metroska.But that's basically it.

Are you trying to watch fansubs? If so, try CCCP. It resolves most problems:

Tell me if it works. If not, I can try to help you.

EDIT: Before installing it, remove all other codecs.
