Don't get me wrong, I think aeria is being completely ubsurd with what they're doing, but when you walk into their forums and complain, it has yet to accomplish anything, infact I think our complaining most likely got us in deeper shit with aeria then just putting up with the few bots and advertisers. Same for when we make these threads here, nothing happens, and nothing has yet to happen, if you want to take action you need to do something for assertive then just a thread, or spamming.

Alright what would you suggest besides a formal complaint? We can't just ban anything Aeria related here because that would be unfair to the people who actually like their games. I just don't think cleaning up the debris after the bomb is all that we can do.

Despite being a MegaTen player, I fully support you all on this. This is so ubsurd and beyond stupid, it's have been far better if someone had just written a nice 3-paragraph article on the game for review and posting somewhere. Anyhow, hope this all calms down. My guild all thinks the idea is beyond low, and we'll be voicing our opinion when we can.

You know aeria will continue to do this until the higher ups at onrpg and other gaming forums start banning companies from posting crap like that. Since there has been no reply on this or the other topics on aeria games from the higher ups that control onrpg (only forum mods have posted and from what I gather they don't have a whole lot of power when it comes to companies doing this, they can only clean up the spam). Until the community gets a reply it's kinda useless doing anything to try and show aeria there in the wrong when it comes to this (not that they'll listen we all know how childish the 40 yr old Superman0X is).

I created a topic on mm0rpg.com and before it got banned someone posted in there that it wasn't the first time companies have sunk this low in order to try and secure a steady flow of income. It probably won't be the last either unless a company is made an example (which will likely never happen).

The #1 thing i hate about this is that it comes in mass, yet never cease to be lame, unoriginal, and sad.

If you're going to advertise, Quality > Quantity, UNLESS you can make it good enough to be worthwhile. This is like bribing a kid with candy so he can go and deliver mail for you, only he does a crappy job at it and you lose your credibility.

Yea I know this thing, been going on for quite some time. Just ridiculous they have to promote their games like this. If people (the community) liked their games they would make topics theirselves to discuss the game and wont need some retard justwantingpointsorstuff guy to come spam the forum with an account with 1 post and with only stuff how amazing the game is.
