The irony is. Megaten had alot of support in onrpg forums and a huge following and this new low aeriagames has sunk it self to has actually turned the community of onrpg against them.

I also find it sad their asking people to spam and not doing their own advertisement. Frankly your a tool and a sheep if you spammed for them and fell for this marketing ploy. This is just a whole new low.

Uh, using the players of the game is a common (and free) advertising technique, nothing wrong with it. And in no way is Aeria encouraging spamming when the post clearly says:

And of course Aeria doesnt care about other forums unless it involves money, its not their business, i wouldnt care either. It's that forum's job to take care of itself. But u can't say they didnt address the issue, because they clearly did. Why do ppl freak out so easily gawd.

That's like saying if it's free, easy, and common way to do something, you should do it. It's not funny being hated by people who don't want you to ring their door bell at random time and offer them some random crap they don't need. Being effective and efficient as well as professional is a MUST for any self respecting company, it look like they decided to play the cheap, lame, and unprofessional way.

If they say "no spamming" there should be repercussions for it on THEIR end as well. Like a ban from THEIR forums if they post anywhere but our "Shameless Promotion" forum section.

Firstly, this whole situation is dumb. U guys act like some posts on a forum are just the worst thing that can happen. Let the mods take care of it and stop bringing it up, only making urself upset (even though this is NOTHING to get mad at). I understand for sum people this forum is ur life, but i promise u seeing a few repeat links on it wont hurt u.

Anyways, no they shouldnt. All they can do is encourage the people not the spam, the end. They can promote and advertise any way they want. Not their job to care what u guys or anyone thinks about it (especially when ur not even telling them the issues, just venting to each other), they are trying to run a successful business. It's not like they say "go spam" or are actually doing the spamming themselves, so u guys are mad at the wrong people. U need to be looking at the individual ppl doing the spamming and thats it. It was their choice to participate and their choice to spam, even though advised not to. Aeria shouldnt do anything because its not their property or their control. It's like u punching someone in the face at HOME, but getting expelled from SCHOOL...
