You missed the point. If you control the majority, you're making the most money. If you're making the most money then it's not broken, it's working exactly the way you want it to. If it's not broken, why fix it?
That will obviously change if Microsoft is overtaken in this race. |

If you wait until the other guy has 51%+ to fix things, it will be took late. If you have the dominant market position, you use that to maintain your position. When someone starts taking huge chunks out of your position, you have to react. So far, it doesn't seem like MSFT/IE have reacted, as IE doesn't appear to be doing much to compete. |
