Especially when you use your computer on a daily basis, as well as driving watching movies, texting on phones with small screen, etc.

And you can't wear contacts that aren't expensive. And don't even try getting colored contacts, you'll end up paying like its your monthly bill payments for your house and car insurance.

I have severe astigmatism and its progressively getting worse.

Oh man, if it gets too bad you won't be able to drive or it'll become to risky for an accident. But anyways, sorry to hear to you have it, i guess I'm the few lucky one who have near perfect eyesight after playing 6 years of computer games for 7-8 hours a day, maybe 100 days a year where I look at sun when its at its peak.

I had a bit of an astigmastim (I didn't know until the checkup before my surgery), if you ever get one of those topographical maps of your eyes done, they look neat, mine were figure 8's IIRC.

Laser zapping pretty much fixed it (and my vision can now detect ninjas, BTW, holy crap ninjas!)
