Ok... so I know the basics of fighting and can handle my self pretty well HOWEVER if I mess up just once on some of these monsters im fighting for quest (white wolf for example) they almost always kill me in one hit... (as in one attack so I can be hit multiple times)

Now I really dislike begging but... If anyone has ANY kind of spare weapon or armor they could "donate" Id really appreciate it and you have my word of me paying you back. This game is tough on nubs...

I won't give you spare items because you don't really need them and because I don't have any spares. D:
I'll show you how to defend yourself with awesome skill combos. (:

i just smash/counter/defend/counter depending on what they do.

Yeah, that's pretty much the best thing to do.
You can also throw windmill in there.

get 220 broad sword customization do 1 hit to white wolf throw windmill throw up counter use ice ball throw up counter again and by then he should pretty much be dead
