I don't think a degree is required for a talk show. It's just a matter of will people watch it. There is a market for it, sadly...and that's all people care about. It's about the money, not about whether they are qualified. It's not like you need a degree to become a comedian or a rock band. As long as you can sell yourself, nothing else matters. Degrees are only needed for things that require applicable knowledge.

Only if you have the IQ of a dead fish. Her show is ok I don't think she needs a degree. People forget that talk shows are just that talk. I don't listen and take cues from the people I talk to everyday so why should do that with a talk show. But I realize that there are some pretty stupid people out there and they will listen to whatever a famous person says and take it seriously.
