OOC: I really appologise for how ridiculously long this has taken. I decided I didn't like the plot I'd come up with several times. Finally I sat down today and came up with an entirely new idea that I hope will make for a cool RP.
IC: At that moment the inn's door opens, and a figure wrapped in a dark green cloak, soaked by the storm outside, steps in, closing the door with some effort against the shrieking wind behind him as he does so. This done, he stands quietly a moment, taking stock of his surroundings. Seeing the innkeeper returning to his place behind the bar, he begins to walk over to him, making slow progress against the crowd on the floor. As he does so, he draws back his hood and wipes the rain from his face with one hand. He has a lean, weatherworn face, scarred in several places, and piercing grey eyes. He has several days growth of beard on his face, and straight brown hair that falls to his neck. The man finally makes his way to the bar, and stands leaning against it. As the innkeeper approaches he signals for a drink, and then, taking occasional sips from a mug of ale, he engages the innkeeper in conversation. After a moment, the man nods, and, reaching underr his cloak, hands the innkeeper several coins. OOC: Just have your characters do whatever I guess. Reflect on your past maybe. I'll take control when it gets close to closing time.
