Spray is part of the game, get used to it. You may consider someone using a Rifle, a sprayer, but how do you know they're not actually aiming at you? I'm sure that's more likely.
Shotguns can be sprayed using the switch technique, resulting in rapid fire.
Revolvers can be sprayed in the same way.
Bet you never considered people switching between weapons and firing repeatedly in your general direction, sprayers? Or people who fire rocket after rocket where they think you're going to move next.
Practically everyone sprays, considering spray is the shooting of a weapon "towards" another player and more often than not, missing. The only way you can have 100% accuracy (meaning no spray whatsoever) is to have the reflexes of a Jedi, or to use an aiming bot.
Besides, the majority of E-stylers (generally sprayers) are easy to kill if you avoid running in a straight line and you are able butterfly them.
Another thing is that some people suffer from lag. An easy way to combat the effects of lag (missing other players when it says "hit" due to the lag) is to spray, as obviously, with more bullets flying about, you're more likely to hit something.
