Default Archer job change?

So I have a quick question for you all.

How does the Archer job change work? Do you change from one class to the other? or are there consecutive changes?

I watched this youtube clip that confused the bloody hell out of me -o-''

Example: Archer>Ranger>Destroyer>WildKeeper

or

Archer>Ranger
Archer>Destroyer
Archer>Wildkeeper

How job changes work is that after you get your first job, i.e. archer, swords, mage, then after that you get card job changes.

Each class has 4 respective to its own element.

So archer can become ANY of the 4 as long as you have the card. First card is at level 36 and second at 46. And so on. And you also need the right job level, 20 for the first and 35 for the next, and so on.

So in the end, you can become and of the four changes as long as you have the card for your own class.

yeah thanks for the explanation. i was quite confused too. =/

but theres still something i don't get. is it when i use the red magician card, i only stay as red magician for a period time and then i have to hunt for another card again?
and what if i was a red magician and changed to blue magician, i need red magician card again to transform back to red magician again?

No, you don't have to hunt for another card to use the specialist again. In Nostale, there is something called "SP" that enables you to use your specialist cards. The yellow SP bar will appear beneath your MP bar as soon as you get your first specialist card (Fire Mage in your case). You use SP everytime you attack or use a skill when you're in specialist mode, and when your SP is depeleted, you cannot use your specialists until you replenish your SP.

You get 10k points worth of SP everyday (again, when you get your specialist card) and the time you gain it depends on where you're from. You can also replenish your SP by using SP items such as SP chargers and omelletes.

Regarding your 2nd question, yes, that is what you do in order to switch from specialist to specialist. On a side note, once you acquire a certain specialist card, you get to keep that card forever.
