Crossbowman and hunters shoot the same speed since patch .60, and Iron arrows damage now OWNS bombs on a mob of 1-6(Less damage reduction).

In third job, crossbowman have it much better(Same speed with strafe, but LOTS more damage, plus we can freeze). Oh, and hurricane is pretty much the only skill that 4th job hunters use.

4th job, no class is liked more for partying or bossing. Mainly because no one partys 4th job archers, except for NL's. Plus, 4th job crossbowmen are actually preferred for bossing(Seeing as all we do is give SE), because they usually have a higher level SE than a Bowmaster of the same level.

Not trying to be bias or anything, But Marksmen get the highest hitting mob skill on maplestory. They have much more variety to what skills you can use unlike the bowmaster who only uses hurricane. Hurricane at max does only about 3-4 arrows/sec.
which is quite slow. However I played on a private server and made a Bowmaster and that is how fast it is. It only seems as if it shoots 9-10 arrows per sec. Strafe is 4 or 6 arrows per sec. (Sorry I forgot how many arrows strafe shoots) And that is close to the speed of Hurricane except the .60 sec. delay between using the skill again. To me, Marksmen also get alot more respect since they are the least common job in maplestory. Marksmen also get alot flashier skills that attract more attention.
