UPDATE:
THEY REBLOCKED AROUND 1ST WEEK OF DEC.

IMPORTANT:
JAPAN GAMEPOT MIGHT HAVE REMOVED THEIR IP BLOCK ON FEZ
I am not sure about FEZ, but I tried Paperman and it works now, no block; meaning FEZ maybe too, since they are under the same company !!!!!!
Somebody go test it !!!

got bored of gunz and nothing else to play
fez's pvp is not comparable by any mmo out there to me =3
the ping got better in hk lately too, i get 250-400 most of the time
(which is very decent even comparing to japan's no ip block days
HK's FEZ is still open to all, no ip block (at least to me in Canada)

Till next Tuesday = double kvk exp, you can get a double exp book (which stacks with the double exp week event x2x2 kvk exp) and level to lv16 by doing tutorials really fast, and then u can get to 30s in a day if u try (or use the double exp book and u dont have to try)!!!

I seem some threads asking about FEZ lately, some budies asked me through MSN also . . . .
So here comes my sugguestions !!!

There are 5 versions of it out in the market atm:

1. Japan - Gamepot
____IP BLOCK
____LAUNCH BLOCK, i cannot launch the patcher using sockscap, nothing shows up.
____VPN BLOCK
____PROXY not sure, i dont have a safe proxy software to test this. My current proxy soft will be blocked becuz of their launch block.

2. Japan - Hangame
____IP BLOCK
____no launch block, web start
____VPN BLOCK
____PROXY. i can update using sockcap on ie, then press start @ webpage. but i would be stuck at this map16 file during update.

3. Taiwan - Gamania
____IP BLOCK
____PROXY BLOCKed too for some reason

4. HongKong - Gamania
____NO IP BLOCK, playable
____ping similar to the japanese server @ earlier stage (without vpn)

5. Mainland China - PlayOnline
____NO IP BLOCK, not playable for me
____there seems to be lots of bugs for their client, i created chars, but when i try to get in to the game, an error pops up saying "error selecting chars". i did some search, some others have this problem too. Did not go in further investigation :3

SOOOOOO . . . come HongKong
it actually has some advantages
1. HK had English as their official language over 100 years (British Collonie). Not saying u can just yell anything u want =3= . . . .
2. no need to proxy
3. one server !!! everyone in the same server, more kvks than the japanese servers.

At low level, hugging the mine will give you more exp and ring

Hug one till its dead, then consider the following (Low Level max exp/ring strategy !!) :
1. If the other miners are going to a sub mine, follow them. And then u can do #2 when time or castle hp almost run out (like 1/2ish of last bar) !!!
2. If there are alot of horses on your side, go giant

It is easy to get both A Rank @ Mining/Contribution and DMG to Building this way !!!

Again, trade = aim > z > 2nd option

aim > z > 3rd last > 3rd last

Yo, I am playing HK service also. I am in yellow. But it's quite lag when I play at night. How about your guys? not lag at all?

Yes, thats the official document field (eg. kssn).
changing the checkbox to the rightside one, = "other identification number"
so then pretty much u just need to remember the number you input for future identifications (eg. forgot password).

an english community . . . . . if you mean a guild for english players to communicate, then yes, a guild has been up since the first day of OB in HK too. At that time, it was really laggy; now its alot better. I can walk anyone through the basics, FEZ is a really PVP based game, meaning not many significant quests, it should be really easy to play.

I tried a few kvks on 11 : 30 AM EST , which should be 12 : 30 PM at hongkong . . .
my ping was around 300~400
where do you live ? ur night may be different to my night xD

I grabbed a download manager and am downloading all 3 parts at around 10kbs and the 2nd part is curiously going at around 100kbs now o.0 so I should be done in 2 or 3 hours...had trouble making my account but I think it worked 0.o so I should be joining you soon guys ^_^ I miss this game so much..

I'll upload to mediafire overnight or something so the rest of you can download easier.

Also I know quite a bit about the game (it's very simple) so if you need help I can guide you through it pretty much...also I pray I don't lag that badly because me no like lag :< as long as it doesn't go up above 300 ish then I can probably play...usually for korean games I get around 110 ping though this is a bit farther west I guess.
