you get different classes the 2nd semester, why is that? you just bond with class students and teacher and BAM, you have to change class. i never even knew they did that and i flunked all my midterms so o_O sumemrschool here i comes

That is how all normal high schools work.

I went to a HS where the semesters were linked and it helped with homework and projects but exam time sucked.

ur teacher changes?
wow thats weird, in my school only the period of the class changes, so only the people are different

Don't fret too bad man, I made some good friends in summer school. And thats where all the action is. I laughed my *** off there, every day.

im so unorganized i shud go to my conselor and ask for my new schedule which i shudve long time ago... and ask if i can not do cooking class..t

You get 4 classes per semester and they last for half the school year. That's why they switch over to the next semester.

i have 7 full year classes

My highschool was like this.

Semester 1:
Classes (example)
A) Math.

Science. C) phys ed. D) Elective.

Day 1:
A block
B block
C block
D block

Day 2:
B block
C block
D block
A block.

Then it just repeats.

Semester 2:
Classes:
E) Socials. F) English. G) French. H) Elective.

Day 1:
E block
F block
G block
H block

Day 2:
F block
G block
- -
- -

You get the picture.

Yes, but later in school you have to take half year courses, like art and such...no?

What I really hated was when they'd switch around your lunch period to work in gym. GAH. Just when you'd found some nice people to eat lunch with because your friends have a different period lunch, blam...your in gym.
