yeah, the company will never email you and ask you for information. That's probably what they'll tell you if you contact them.

By the way, what credit card number was it you sent them? E-mail it over to me and I'll see if I can track it down for you.

Make sure to include the expiry date and your home address.

their not going to be able to use the credit card anyway, if they do, you can simply put up a case and get ur money back.

im pretty sure you can get your account back too... maybe stripped and deleted

simply call blizzard... the secruity question isnt what gets your account back it helps though... its the name bound to the account... it doesnt show it in the account information page... so if you gave him that info then you are 100% screwed... thats your way of proving you own the account...

you can recall it but if the guy knows the name bound to the account hes just gonna recall it again.. and again and again till you give up

that might work but i doubt it.... it would have worked before people started selling accounts... if you take a pic of the box/serial it doesnt really prove much.... you could have stolen the box... the box could have been sold to the guy and then account recalled so its not even his account to begin with.... if people wernt selling account they prolly would have accepted that method..

thats why account registration is in place... to bind said account to a person incase of an emergency like this one.... if you gave that information away then your outa luck sorry mate

so long as you didnt give your name on the account away your safe

Kinda like OnRPG.

Ironic isn't it.

People aren't reading. I said I still HAVE my credit card info.

Gave away name, address, password, serial key, and secret question answer.

Called in, and they faxed me a form to fill out. Driver registration & what-not is needed, and they locked my account until proof of ownership is provided.

Eh, satisfied with their responses so far. Rampant stupidity on my part, really. Sent in the form today, and let's see how Blizzard's customer service responds.
