hi i am about to start playing this game for the first time. so i was wondering if there was anyone i can like be friends with in game to help me out and i was also wondering how is the grind in this game

I dont think many (from ONRPG) play now, I used too but I gave up.
As for the grind, its debatable.

Its all about knowing how to level. I got to 2nd job in about 2 weeks and basically all you need to do is find the right party. I think at level 60 the experience is 0.30 per kill. So depending on your speed of kill then you have to decide.
