Well about 7 monthes ago my friend and I started making a game with RPGMaker XP, but not really big time, just here and there, we currently have over 170 maps, not all fully scripted (most are).

(short and 'to-the-point' version)
The story is about a young warrior who will journey on while meeting new friends (party members), while doing quests, side quests, conversing with the team and other people, he has to save the world from the demon that has awaken once again, the demon travels to Temples in order to get jewels to supply him with the power to gain control of the world and turn it to complete darkness, each jewel holds immense power, if that power falls under the wrong hands the world will be doomed, He and his friends will take on the challange of saving the world from this great evil



We hope we can make this game online, using netplay with alot of edits,
The "next-step"-
Why are we calling this 'MMORPG' a new experience in mmorpg gaming?
Because we have combined a single-player RPG with an online rpg.
Some parts of the game are only single-player, where the plot focuses,
such as important key events in the rpg.

Unlike other mmorpgs, where you just "kill kill, quest, kill kill, quest" (etc...),
and you don't even know the storyline and even if there is a storyline to it,
you don't notice it, and the main quests are optional.

We ask; what good is that?
We want players to FEEL the storyline, to BE part of the adventure!
we want to make the plot the main point of the mmorpg,
not non-stop fighting.
Each player undergoes the story from begining to end
depending on each player's option, the story could change,
ofcourse not the main plot, but decisions will effect some aspects.

What does happen after you finish the RPG?
- That's totaly up to you!
You can continue leveling, questing, and even re-do the game (while still retaining the same level). Who knows, we might even add more to it later


I myself am learning RGSS right now to be able to better script the game,
although im quite novice at it, ive also taken up learning to to a little spriting.
Which im also a beginner at, but its summer time so im guessing ill have some time on my hands.

My friend that im working with (also a friend in real life) is an excellent mapper, alot better then me, so we have that covered.

We are looking to increase the size of this project!

Ill post screenies when i have time, my sister's bat mizvah is today and tests are all over the place,

I own www.GamerLiege.com which is not in use right now, so ill be making the homepage for that game probably on that website
