Whatever might happen between B and C is a different story, everyone who can find some way to get happy and established, should be happy about his luck, wherever his starting point was.
There is still nothing valuable to sitting around and "thinking", because if you sit around you don't think, you sit.

Also don't measure yourself on others.
As much as what works out for you most likely will no way work out for about everybody you know, never assume it could be the other way around.
Just make the best out of what you got for yoruself and if you loose the view and outlook of the future in this, you prepare your own mess-up.

Slacking off is just taking the luxury of forgetting about everything and consuming it, giving nothing back, not to yourself and not to anybody else. It's a damn precious luck that a considerable amount of people on this earth even have the chance to take such a break, but it needs a lot of explanations and reasons to make it a reasonable choice and just demanding that liberty, because it's there is abusing it.
Also it should be understandable, that a person of whom you can expect absolutely nothing won't be held in to high an esteem.
you're really stressed, aren't you ? hav a chill pill. life aint always about being serious all the time. you got to take a break even if its doing nothing if you have to. life is full of surprises.

education gets you so much farther than street smarts...
To hell with that. I'd much rather have street smarts. For all you know, your fancy *** high school and collage diplomas might not be worth a damn in five years. Just look how far a college degree used to take you. With one, you had a solid job for twenty years, now you're lucky if you have an unstable job for two.

i got scholarships later.

I lived with my mom for most of my college education and saved up money while working.

also i dropped out of high school mainly becuase i was just another depressed teen with alot of family issues.

you won't get anywhere in life without an education or some very good luck. Even if you somehow get into a good job a work your way up once you decide to switch jobs you won't be able to find anything good enough.

you sound like a kid who views everything in his life as the only things to have happened.

we are in a recession which is why jobs are hard to get. every decade or so we get into an economic depression.

even jobs like target and bestbuy want you to have a higher education.

the world is becoming alot more competitive becuase the ratio of countries like america are very low in education, which can be tied to usually how religious a county is. *hint

Dude. It's just studying. What is so bad about that?
It as simple as riding a bike.

Not everyone can study by books.
Some perform better studying hands on.

Like I said, find what you really want and do it well.

yes exactly.

companies are failing cos they only trust the booksmart people to handle the finances, who only think about making money while not thinking more about the cons.

see whats happening to wall street ? u need a mixture of both, maybe more streetsmart, to succeed.
