Are there IP blocks for Rune of Magic? I'm from Asia and I can't seem to login to the server.. Or am I supposed to choose international instead of US at the installation?

You're not the only one apparently. Was able to login last night but this afternoon (after came back from school) was "Obtaining server list" and just hang there until now.

Erm, there is no IP block ( since I was able to play, Asia[Malaysia] as well here.) on the international server or so it seems. But the uber lags kinda turn me away from it.

Do pardon my bad english.

Yea..there are no IP blocks, just depends on what you choose on install, I would recommend taking "International" if you don't want to make a mistake and choose the wrong region, but you can always change it by reinstalling and choosing a different region. And there was a new patch today...they did one of the things I really needed

they removed all EXP and TP debt, and I had quite a lot of it..thx to city guards...

You don't have to reinstall, you can change the server host in the RuneDev config.

i know this is an old thread and i hate making one since it's my first post here in ONRPG.

will the US IP block other countries in the near future? i mean i started out in the US server since my friends are playing there. now i'm afraid if i'm wasting time and money then receive an infamous IP block in the near future.

and yes i'm not in the US right now.

and by the gods, i hate playing EU because they are a biatch about IP blocking... (sorry bad exp from CABAL)... anyway, no point for me playing EU since i don't know anyone there. lol
