using games as teaching materials and courses has been there for quite some time, its not very rare in US too i believe, read through several articles about schools using them since a few years back.

i dont think that the benefits of having a video game related class outweigh the cons of looking like an idiot. i dont care how many mathematical principles they apply to it, the fact is you have to live the rest of your life knowing you went to starcraft school. i think itd be easier to live as a convicted sex offender.
