Okay here is my problem and I was hoping some one could help me. So I was starting up playonline viewer and it asked for my password and all that but I was fiddling with some stuff and had to exit to the dashboard. So I do it, then when I go back to play FFXI it sais my disc is dirty, and I know for a fact it isn't and it most deffinitely is not scratched. I clean my disc still and nothing improves. It did this before when I abruptly exited FFXI one time and i had to re-install the Playonline but doing that now would mean uninstalling FFXI then install play online, then re-installing ffxi and re-doing updates which I would love to avoid. Can anyone help me?

do a backup of the folder where u have ff xi, then unistall and reinstall then replace the new files iwth the old files, then when u update, it will take about 30-40min for it to to check then its complete, no need to update it all the way.

When i was playin, i always had a backup on my ff xi, just in case some shit like this happened, or if i reinstalled my comp.

hope it helps you.
