Just try something for me. I don't know if it'll work, but, it may create a better effect.
Select the line art layer and then select channels. Highlight all the channels and then look for a dotted circle at the bottom of the panel, click this. You should now have the black lines in your line art select. Inverse this selection so that you are selecting the white areas of your line art, then either mask the white or delete it, whichever you prefer. Play about with the 'levels' tab and it should get rid of some of those uneven pencil edges or it can be used to provide a smoother outline for the image. I've done some line art in the past if you want a .PSD, might help you. I'm not very good, but who knows. |

Thanks guys. And Cingal I'll try that, thanks. Going to fix it up now.
Did a bit to the hair, can't seem to spot anything else, maybe you guys know. Also Cingal I can't figure out how you inverse it? I'm new to Photoshop don't really use it. Updated:

hi, i didnt want to make a new thread about this. but can anyone show me any good tutorials for colouring? i just got my tablet and i just drew my first ever picture using it. not very good though. some tips for the newb?
