Sup guys

I played wow from release until right before BC came out. I was on a role playing server Silver Hand.

Ever since i've been trying to find another game that matches the role playing communities I found in wow.

So far I haven't found anything that I like. Most games that call themselves rpg's are geared to kids with graphics or the game is really fun but hardly anyone role plays.

I like the pay games but i'm willing to try out the free ones. It just seems like now all the free mmos make money buy selling items for real money.

Neverwinter Nights 1 + Expansions is the best roleplaying you'll find in any game. Ever.

Don't even try to dispute it. It's a fact.

The graphics may be outdated, and the gameplay is a little boring, but the toolset is well-documented and well-known, meaning that servers nowadays have some pretty awesome and ridiculous worlds.

Right now I'm on a Wheel of Time server called The True Source. It's pretty rad.

And why don't you try Fable? It is a nice game and it doesn't have childish graphics.

He never said he wanted an MMORPG, he just said he wanted a game with Roleplaying. Not all games with Roleplaying necessarily are MMOs, though. For example, Neverwinter Nights.

I think that this forum is right enough.

but no..
I agree with Xenoknight2, Neverwinter Nights is your best bet.
I've never seen one MMO that had a server where people actually roleplay.
Most MMOs have RP servers, but apparently people are too stupid to know what roleplaying is.. and they just talk mad shit, like they do on every other server lol

He wants a game, the roleplaying section is for roleplaying threads. And he wants an online game, he said Games with Roleplaying players not NPC's.

Anyways, try Face of Mankind when it's out, it has one of the best communities and it's a real roleplaying game. It's based on a future world with different factions, you can be a criminal, thug, a member of an organized gang a cop and more.

Just to clear it up I'd like to find a mmo that has a good online role playing community.

In the mean time I haven't played Neverwinter Nights so i'm going to check it out.

As for rpg's I loved all the Elder Scrolls and Gothic games.

True, he didn't say MMO, but how is Fable even remotely close to what he's asking for?
He asked for a game with a good RP community, which Fable has not for it has no community.
He also asked for a game, which Onrpg's RP forum is not..

@OP: Like I said in my original post, NWN pretty much wins.
