DS seems like a very good idea depending on your class imo. My main being a resto/elemental shaman, I probably respec 4~5 times a day because my guildie needs a resto shaman or w.e. Not only that but I also respec to PVP resto spec (different from raid spec) when I am doing Arena. So I basically spend about 200g+ a day on respecs(also Glyphing). And I am probably going to spend 1000g for DS cuz in a long run, i would be saving a lot of money on respecs.

And yes...ever since Wotlk came out, farming for gold became insanely easy. I can probably make 1k in a day or 2 selling stuff on AH and farming for saronite ores etc.

im gonna like ds because since im a dps spec dk i can ds so i can be tank/dps and take care of the lack of tank/healers-healers/tanks that dont pug problem on my server.

Yeah I also have a DK but I dont know if i want to get DS for him yet.

yeah my next goal is to prove to people that all dk tanks dont suck.ive already proven with my ability that not all dks suck at dps and have made many friends and got alot of respect for that,so next is to prove all the tanks dont suck.

actually it was said in a blue post they are going to make it avaliable to people lvl 40+

I'm personally going to get it simply so i can dps or tank when needed

Though from what it seems i tank better then most tanks when i'm specced and geared for dps

WTB more decent tanks!

Also it seems that when patch 3.1 is released it will nerf "ghetto hearthing" but the hearthstone is being reduced to a 30min cooldown

Dual Spec should be somewhat of an achievement, I think 1k gold is well worth it. Can't just give DS away like candy! It's freakin' awesome right now to be able to change spec where-ever you want, exlcuding BG and arena.

I think DS is something you should atleast work for, not a free giveaway, so I think 1k gold is fair. You can't switch in combat anyway, and when you switch specs you lose 100% of any rage, mana, energy, or runic power.

I mean, you can still respec without DS, just have to go visit trainer instead of the ease and advatage of carrying 2 specs around.

edit: it's so fun, start working on your DS right when you get to 80 xD
