When you click Characters on the Nostale site when you scroll down you see the Specialists. Will you have to pick a certain class to get a certain specialist?

Yes, you will, the main classes branch off into six diffirent specialists. I'm not sure of the exact names, but I'll give you names I suspect based on the images I've seen of them, I'll get the image for you later as well. ^^

Swordsman -> Knight / Samurai
Archer -> Sniper / Assassin
Sorcerer -> Wizard / Priest

its more to be samurai, cause the 2 swords classes branch into
"the Tank"-Knight
and samurai is more like a 1 hit killer, using death blows and such.

archers become stealthy using long range and fast close range attcks.

wizard and preist i think should be self explanatory. magic dealer/ healer.

I dont understand how the above could be correct what happens to crossbow people.... they just dont vanish, there has to be some class for them, unless they go with sniper then thats understandable

They simply disappear. Unless Knights happen to use Crossbows as well. Not sure whats gonna have to Spellguns either. Maybe there will be another class for them in the future?

hmmm, not bad classes, SUCH the normal, i wish there were more. oh well, i LOVE the graphics for this game.

crossbows are with the sniper class. they just require different requirements
