I'm a little confused... I see all of these death knights wearing the rare gear you get after completing the DK start up when they're like level 65!

Was that gear meant to last that long or are people just wearing it for the looks?

actually it DOES last that long.there isnt anything half as good til your in the mid 60's that replaces it.

I started replacing my DKs gear when I went to Zangarmarsh but it was only few pieces. But yeah...you will start replacing them around 65+.

it easily lasts you until 68-70, when you can go to northrend.

you can actually wear it till the late 70s and do fine.

But it is some of the best looking armour ive seen :P

I wish I could upgrade mine and make it useful until 80. It's so damn cool.

yeah some of the bits are hard to replace with what you can get from quests and yeah it looks pretty good
