Appendix, actually may have a use for storing some "seed" bacteria that helps us digest food, still many people have had these removed and survived so it ranks above the Tonsils but below the Spleen. Last and in my mind least are male breasts/nipples. These really have no purpose. In females they can be used for nourishment for babies but in males they aren't really used for anything. The reason we still have them is becuase we evolved with them and while we evolved it was no longer neccessary to have them. We used to need special parts to help digest plants, but now we don't eat those type of plants anymore so we don't need them. Q. would world peace be boring? |
