i just started reading the berserk manga and i gotto say its freakin awesome! at chapter 12 now and so far its much better then the anime. also weird how the first episode of the anime is different from the first chapter of the manga in the anime theres a girl beeing harrassed while in the manga its a male elf that continue's in the following chapters with Gatts. also gatts is fighting way more brutal in the manga lol cutting people and horses both horizontal and vertical in 2 pieces xD is this because the manga is 18+ and they tried to make the anime for all ages or something?

btw im also amazed how big the manga is, the first few chapters all have like 50-100 pages and i saw theres 292 chapters o.O looks like i wont get bored in a while lol. is the manga still ongoing or does it end at 292? and did you all like it?

Berserk is the best ****en thing on the planet and yeh its ongoing and you probably wont finish reading it all for awhile so it should keep you occupied.

Yes the manga is much different to the anime. The anime was just sort of a promotion thing to get people to read the manga so they left lots of stuff out on the anime. There are more fights in the manga and much more story.

Enjoy berserk as much as i did =]

edit: They dont make stuff like berserk anymore, the closest thing to berserk would be claymore
