![]() Version 0.32 - UPDATE! New guide title (i'm quite lazy this week). Communication ![]() By pressing the ESC key, we'll come to the following menu. I've translated the more important options and left the unnecessary ones empty (This format will follow throughout the guide). ![]() Select Community to bring up the Community Menu. The population info refers to names of users in your server. This will apply to both users taking part in quests. Selecting the "Search for Player" option will bring us to the following image. ![]() In this image, the top option is to search players by their in game name, while the bottom uses their game ID. The game ID consists of numbers and letters most of the time. I'll come back to the game ID at some other point in time. ![]() It will then come up with a window offering you to type the player's username. Type the username and press enter to see results. (In this case I typed my own name) ![]() If successful, you should find the player's name in the window and you are then obliged to choose actions to do with him. The circled option allows you to add this person to your friends list. ![]() Another window will pop up to ask if want to confirm this action, select yes. ![]() Return to the Community menu and this time select Friendslist. Highlight a friend and choose any action you desire. The "Jump" option allows you to quickly move to your friend's world/server/channel. If the jump fails, it is likely due to an abundance of users in that world/server/channel. ![]() By going next to a player, you can whisper the player manually by pressing Z when the red arrow hovers above them. By pressing the E key, you'll check the user's status, such as equipment, personal saying, and hunter rank. Chatting ![]() By holding shift and then using the up and down arrow keys on your keyboard, you can change to different chatting methods. The yellow text means you are chatting to everyone in the whole server. ![]() The blue text on the other hand, only reaches people within your area. Such as the tavern and lobby. Likewise if you were to go outside the lobbies and taverns, only the people outside will see your blue text. ![]() The orange text means you are whispering to the person you selected earlier. ![]() Green text is guild chat. Most of the users may want to use this form of chatting. ![]() Going back to the mail option, we see three options. Your Inbox, to send mail, and also to save mail. Saving mail refers to saving the format of your mail, so that you can send the same message to multiple users by simply changing the "to" portion. ![]() Here is an example of a mail I sent to Wound. Really, really great guide.
Here's what I'm dieing to know: Whats up with weapons/inventory? Why am I assigned a different weapon for every solo mission from the first mission lady? I just want to play missions using the weapon I've got equiped "for show".

The House System
Your house consists of 3 choices, to sleep on the bed, manage your box, or combine food to make meals that either increase or decrease your stats. ![]() Here we have the box, with two options provided. The extra box is able to hold 4 tabs full of items while the regular box is only able to hold 1 tab. However, only the regular box holds your equipment. ![]() This image is self explanatory. ![]() Once you select Equipment, you will notice a variety of options to choose from. The "set" system either saves or deletes your managed equipment sets. These saved sets can be applied to lobby or quests, as shown in the next image. ![]() ![]() By sitting down on the table in your house, your cat will scurry over to you to give you a list of foods you own and can combine. These foods will vary in affect depending on how you combine them. I will bring up a combination list in the future. ![]() You'll notice this sign outside your house. This is to allow other players to enter your homes, and vice-versa of course. The benefits of going into ones house is to eat the same food they cook, perhaps to save time spent on cooking? ![]() And here are the options to choose from in searching for the house you wish to enter. Guild NEW ![]() NEW NOTICE. We don't care anymore, we have plenty of spots lulz. Anyone can join at any time. ![]() First head on over to this man outside the tavern. He's located near the top right of the map. ![]() Next, select "Search for guilds". We'll come back to "Give Points" later. ![]() Search for our guild using "Search by Guild name" and insert OnRPG. ![]() Select the guild and apply. Wait to be accepted into the guild. ![]() Going back to Give Points. This refers to relinquishing the RP points you've earned and donating them to the guild. By doing so, the guild rank increases, allowing more users to join the guild. A player receives 1 RP point for 30 minutes of time spent online. Last edited by Allegory; 06-06-2009 at 12:22 PM. |

Quests NEW ![]() First off, we want to talk to the lady at the center right of the tavern. You can choose to search quests by field or monsters. Monsters refers to particular bosses of there respective areas. ![]() This is the window for when searching by fields. All quests are organized neatly into what field they occur in. Keep in mind these include the bosses as well as the gathering quests. ![]() Each quest has a tab next to them with a particular color. These colors represent what area the quest is. Refer to them in advance to help prepare for quests such as the snow mountain, desert, and volcano. Also, Arena quests will have a similar color to that of the desert quest. ![]() This is the Monsters tab. All quests here are organized to what family the monster belongs to. A quest may not show due to the season your server represents. Certain monsters only appear in certain seasons. ![]() The old man to the top left has all the Frontier Quests, these quests have special requirements and allow for more exp and money. Of course, they're harder as well. ![]() These are the only important quests that you'll most likely be completing for now. (Anyone over HR 18 should PM me) Current HR 5~11 Recommended Quests ![]() ![]() ![]()
