So i just recently started playing online. im connected and everything and can play online.

however i got this new http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826265045 headset.

i plug the usb into the front of the play station before i turn it on. when i turn it on i hear a few clicks like the mic turned on but then when i get into a game (off or online) i cant hear anything. Im trying to get this to work with socom 2 just fyi. any help or suggestions appreciated

i think you need to have one thats certified for the PS2

i could be wrong though

from what i've read(been researching for over an hour :< ) any plug and play head set should work though

I have this one and it worked ok. Got it from Best Buy but im not sure if they have em anymore.

Hmm i didn't know that ps2 had usb.

Offtopic; Does anyone know of a USB adapter for a pc headset thats £3.00.?

thats because this one was designed for the playstation lol. according the the tech rep that was at the place when my mom bought my headset though it should work with ps2 but i dont get why i cant get it to
