Ok I'm just starting this game, read a few guides, gonna make a psykeeper.
I like to pvp a lot, which is the best 1v1 pvp build?
I heard crucio got nerfed a while back
I've been thinking about satanology but I'm not entirely sure

The only 1v1 psy is the Satan Psykeeper. It's basically 30-40 sta and the rest goes into intel. You root your mob with Satanology so it can't move, then blast away at it from afar with your high powered skills.

- It's easy leveling from 15-60 with this stat build, which is recommended.

- It's one of the slowest levelers in the game, if not the slowest, but the most effective, not to mention very, very safe. You won't have to worry about using food unless there's an aggro near you or you're hit with a long range attack. You don't need a healer or RM, either, as you don't get hit.

- Arguably the best build and class in the game for gianting. Just Satan the giant, and sit back lobbing spirit bombs at it, then Satan again when the timer runs down, keeping watch for aggros. It's a little slow doing it, but it's super effective and safe.

- Spirit Bomb. Seriously, with your high MP and intel, this skill will become one of the most powerful skills in the game. You can 1hit most classes in pvp with this skill. The downside is that for the skill to be the most effective, you need to have above 90% MP; so you need to spend a large amount of money on refreshers so you can spam them, keeping your MP at the required amount.

- Armor? What armor? Satan psys are super cheap and require very little maintenance other than refreshers, not to mention an easy way to make money off of giants. You only need to worry about getting nice +int jewlery, demo earrings, and a mental necklace and buying a nice wand (there's no need to + your armor or pierce it, since 99% of the time you won't get hit, although Ocean and Thunder cards would be nice). Just buy the level 75 set and stick with that until 120.

- In pvp, 90% of the time, if you get the first hit, you're going to win. You won't have to worry about satanology either, unless you're up against a high HP knight. Be careful of close range fighters like the BP and str blades, and also jesters and rangers. Elementers shouldn't be too difficult to kill.

- What's the catch? As I said above, you're one of the slowest levelers in the game, if not the slowest. At lvl 60-75, you'll level very fast, but afterward until 90+ you'll be slow as hell, which is where most people quit or restat. The good thing is that you can start adding more sta, and eventually become an AOE psy.

Crucio was nerfed a while back for pvp reasons, where I think it's effect was halved for pvp only.

If you're into pvp then you'll want a build that can both pvm/pvp well. That would be a crucio and later aoe build. Crucio gets bad after a while, so you have to switch to aoe, plan your build in consequence. At high levels you should have enough sta to survive most asals.
